We are delighted to invite you to our event on Friday 4 October, from 7.30-9.30pm, in the Miles Suite at the Oakwood Centre in Woodley to enjoy a light buffet supper and meet Craig Morley and many of his campaign team. Please join us to enjoy a pleasant evening with other Conservative supporters - this is open to members and those supportive of the party.
Craig Morley, our new parliamentary candidate, is a local man who was raised in Woodley. Following his education at Woodley C of E primary on the Airfield and at Waingels College he graduated from the University of Leeds and has had a fascinating career both in the UK and in China and you can hear much more about his life and experiences on the evening.
The event is raising funds for Craig's campaign to win back Reading East at the next General Election which could be this year.
Tickets are priced at £10 (+ internet booking fee or you can pay on the door) There will also be a licenced cash bar provided by Brown Bag.
Parking is free after 6pm over the road in the Headley Road car park and the Oakwood Centre is on the 13 and 14 bus routes.
Craig has hit the ground running and is already campaigning hard on a number of issues that the residents of Reading East are telling him are really important. These include providing more affordable housing while protecting our precious green spaces, tackling congestion and continuing to campaign for a 3rd Thames bridge.
In order to get Craig's important message out we need funds to pay for leaflets and posters . We also need lots of help from volunteers to deliver leaflets for us, come out canvassing so we know who we are targeting for support, put up a poster in your front garden, stuff envelopes or enter voting data. If you have any questions about Craig's campaign or what you can do to help please contact Craig@craigmorley.uk or have a look at his website.
We hope to see you there and hear your views on Conservative policies both locally and nationally. Party Conference in Manchester should give us plenty to talk about and attendees will be keen to share their experience.
Join Craig's campaign and let's turn Reading East blue again!
