Majid lives in Woodley and it is where his wife and him chose to raise his young family. His daughters attend Rivermead Primary School and Waingels College. The family are active, enthusiastic participants in community events. He is now self-employed so he can spend time with his family, be more involved in his community and volunteer with local charities, such as the Stroke Association.
Majid says “ I feel it is important that wherever possible you can elect a councillor who lives in the ward. It means you share the same issues with other residents. I want to represent you and ensure Woodley is a great place to live, to work, to do business and to raise a family.“
