Laura was elected to represent Southlake ward in May 2015 and was re-elected in 2019.
She has campaigned on many areas of concern and given regular updates to residents about parking restrictions for Bodmin Road, re-surfacing on Fairwater Drive and improvements at the Bulmershe Leisure Centre.
She says: “I want to continue to be a strong voice for the community and make a difference with the issues I know from my street surgeries really matter to local people.”
Laura writes:
"Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I have met many of you already and look forward to us improving our local area together.
I have been listening to residents (on the doorstep and via email and phone) for a number of years and follow up queries and concerns with Wokingham Borough Council.
I attend street surgeries with fellow Conservative councillors and activists, listening to your feedback on your doorstep.
I love attending local events, e.g. Earley Green Fair, Woodley Carnival and Reading Pride, where I get to meet local residents, answer questions and learn of local issues and views."
Laura regularly updates her blog to keep her residents informed of her activities.
