Simon Robinson was elected as the Deputy Chairman Political in March 2017 and re-elected to serve another year in 2018.
Simon has lived in Reading for over 20 years with his wife and family.He works as a home based IT Consultant in corporate education and training whilst his wife also works locally for the BBC at the Caversham Monitoring Centre.
As a resident of Caversham Park Village, Simon is fully aware of the issues that affect the local community such as in transport, education, law and order and social services and feels that he is well placed to both represent the needs of the ward and fight to ensure its voice is effectively heard.
Simon has been a lifelong supporter of the Conservative party and the ideals and core values that the party stands for.
He said, “It is a great pleasure and privilege to have been elected to join the Conservative councillor team for Peppard Ward.
I ensure that I will do my best to thank and serve the good people of Emmer Green, Micklands and Caversham Park Village for the trust placed in me at the ballot box, by providing strong and effective representation for all within the ward.”
