In light of the very sad passing of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Reading Conservatives, along with the people of Reading and the wider United Kingdom, extend our deepest sympathies to Her Majesty The Queen and all other members of the Royal Family. Our thoughts are with them at this time.

As a consequence, and out of respect during the period of mourning, the Conservative Party, both locally and nationally, has suspended all of its campaigning activities around the local elections that are due to be held on May 6th until further notice.  

This means that we will only be able to respond to enquiries and emails, etc, once we have received further guidance from CCHQ on when it is appropriate to do so. Thank you for your understanding in the meantime.
