Alison Swaddle has been Reading East's Chairman since February 2010 and previously served two years as the Deputy Chairman responsible for Fundraising and Membership. She is keen to welcome supporters to events and to join campaign activities, to encourage supporters to join us as new members and to see members become campaigners and be elected as candidates.

She lives in Earley with her husband Paul, two children and two cats. Alison is a Bulmershe School governor, she's Chairman of the 84th Reading Scout Group, is an active member of the Bulmershe Community Association and the Earley St Peters School Association and is an enthusiastic participant in EASI (Earley Adopt a Street) and can often be seen out on Church Road keeping it litter-free.
